The Deployment of Artificial Intelligence in Autonomous Communities: An Analysis of the Pioneering Law 2/2025 of 2nd April for the Development and Promotion of Artificial Intelligence in Galicia

Abstract

This paper analyses Law 2/2025 of 2 April on the development and promotion of artificial intelligence in Galicia. The aim of the study is twofold: firstly, it aims to provide the reader with an overview of the act, commenting on those aspects that have a greater legal significance. Secondly, it undertakes a critical review of the regulation, with the aim of providing the public authorities with some lege ferenda recommendations that can be taken into account in future amendments.
